PE at Frodingham Infant school

There are still lots of exciting things happening in PE at Frodingham Infants school. The sports funding has allowed us to send teachers on dance, physical literacy and gymnastics courses. The gymnastics course now means we have a teacher with a intermediate level certificate in gymnastics in school. There has also been a dance twilight training for all staff members.

We still have health mentors in school 4 days a week, they run 3 after school clubs a week football, gymnastics and multi-skills. The health mentors are also supporting staff in school helping us improve our gymnastics teaching.

Year 1 have attended Boccia and New age curling festivals at Brumby Outwood academy, which we won!

More resources have been purchased which are helping us to teach a broader more exciting pe lesson.
