Fun times

Thank you to everyone who sponsored the children in our 'bunny bounce' they had a fantastic time and as always you supported the school and your children brilliantly.

Easter celebrations

Today all the children had a decorated egg competition, we then had a visit from the Easter bunny and did an Easter egg hunt.

After all this excitement we then had an egg throwing competion.

Congratulations to Jackson on winning the egg throwing competition and to Riley and Grace on winning the best decoarted egg.

Happy Easter

Bug hunting

We had a great morning looking at bugs.  At first we found lots of ladybirds and then we spotted worms, woodlice and slugs.  We made sure we were very gentle with them and tried to do lots of looking and not too much touching!

Fruit tasting

After reading Handa's Surprise we enjoyed trying lots of new fruits.

We have such a lot to do at Nursery there is no wonder we are getting very clever.

Christmas party 2018

We have had our Christmas party. Lots of fun was had by all, we had a visit from Magic Ella and of course..... Father Christmas.

Our Christmas Open Day

Thank you so much to everyone who came to join their child at Nursery today.  I know the children really enjoyed showing you all of our Christmas activities.

Welcome to a new year in Nursery

We have had a fabulous first few weeks back at Nursery and all the new children have done a brilliant job at settling in.  We have had lots of fun playing and working with our new friends.

Here are some pictures of us being very busy!

Look where we went today

Today Nursery went on their trip to Normanby Park.  We had an amazing day out with our friends and our grown ups and the sun shone all day.  We went to the play parks, the splash pad, the house, the woods, the farming museum, the walled garden, played games with our friends and had yummy picnics.  We were all so tired at the end of our day!

Thank you to all the grown ups who came with us because we couldn't have gone without you.

Look who came to visit us today!

We have been talking about Doctors and Nurses and how they help us.  Jackson's Mummy drives an ambulance and she asked Sarah and Gordon who work with her to help her to come and show us the ambulance. We had a great time and learnt all sorts of things.  Some of us had a go on the stretcher which moved up and down but we had to be careful and make sure we were strapped in.  We talked about all sorts of equipment like stethoscopes, bandages, syringes and foil blankets.  We had a look in the ambulance and tried on helmets that would protect our head if we need it.  Some of us even got to sit in the drivers seat and put on the sirens.  We really enjoyed looking at the ambulance and said a great big thankyou to Jackson's Mummy, Sarah and Gordon for coming.

Celebrating the Royal Wedding

We had lots of fun celebrating the Royal wedding. We had a crown parade and a tea party with lots of games.

Our Maths open afternoon

Thankyou to everyone who came to our Maths session.  We hope you saw lots of different ways of helping your child with learning about numbers and shape.  Please feel free to come and speak to any of the staff for any more support you feel you may need.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Frodingham!

We had lots of fun at our Christmas party.

A bagful of stars:

We had a fantastic morning watching the book "a bagful of stars" being performed at the New Life Church.  We helped all the characters to sing the songs and it was so exciting when the whale squirted us with water.

We had great fun in the snow.

Everyone helped decorate the tree.

Christmas has arrived at Frodingham!

We are very excited here- 'Fred' the naughty elf has come to visit.

All our new starters have started.

After very positive stay and play sessions all the children have settled well.

All about ourselves:

We have been learning all about ourselves this term. We have been looking at our different senses and have been using our sense of taste when trying new foods.
