At Frodingham Infant School we aim to provide an inclusive environment in which the learning achievements and well-being of every pupil matters. We are committed to ensuring that every child has access to a broad and balanced curriculum and are supported in reaching their full potential. We believe that the first years of any child’s education provide the foundations vital to a successful and fulfilling life.

All children are fully included and have access to a curriculum which is fun, exciting and skills based. The planned currciulum takes into account pupil's interests and aims to motivate and inspire them.

For children recognised as having Special Educational Needs we provide additional support, ensuring learning is set out clearly in small achievable steps. We have higher adult child ratios within the Foundation Stage to support children from the very start. Through early interventions we strive to ensure that every child is given the best opportunities to succeed. In key stage 1 we continue this enhanced support, including two additional teachers providing a range of relevant interventions.

For children with more complex needs, we have dedicated teaching assistants who will support the child, in all aspects of school life, to develop as independent learners.
